LogSmart is a digital food safety and logging system designed for the food service industry. Our Service includes:
- Template-based digital logging for food safety compliance
- Cloud storage for compliance records and logs
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) logging tools
- Temperature monitoring and tracking
- Offline logging capabilities
- Role-based access control for teams
- Multi-site management for franchises and chains
- PDF and CSV export functionality for audits
3. User Registration and Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
The Service is intended for business users. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with parental consent.

LogSmart provides the technology platform but does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service meets your specific regulatory obligations.
6. Subscription and Payment
Our Service may be offered under various subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan
- Provide valid payment information and keep it current
- Authorise us to charge your payment method according to the subscription terms
- Notify us of any billing disputes within 30 days of the charge
- Understand that subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with reasonable notice to users.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LogSmart and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the data you upload to the Service. However, you grant LogSmart a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our explicit written consent.
8. Service Availability and Modifications
LogSmart strives to maintain continuous service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
- Limit or deny access to the Service to any user at our discretion
- Change the features, functionality, or pricing of the Service
- Implement maintenance windows or scheduled downtime with reasonable notice
We are not liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damages resulting from service interruptions or modifications.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGSMART SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any errors or omissions in any content or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of using the Service
- Any food safety incidents, regulatory violations, or compliance issues arising from your use of the Service
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to LogSmart in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LogSmart, its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws or regulations
- Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Your data or content posted on or through the Service
- Any food safety or compliance issues arising from your use of the Service
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notices, for any reason, including:
- Breach of these Terms and Conditions
- Suspicion of fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended periods of non-use
- Failure to pay any fees due
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at team@logsmart.app. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
- We may delete your account and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- You remain liable for any outstanding payments
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer in the EU, in which case you may bring proceedings in your country of habitual residence.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:
- Posting the new Terms on this page with an updated "Last modified" date
- Sending an email to the address associated with your account
- Displaying a notice within the Service
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should terminate your account before the changes take effect.
